What Does Bathing Water Status Mean for Pangbourne?

PAWSG invites local residents to an evening exploring river water quality, bathing water status, and the role that citizen science and local communities can play in protecting our rivers.

The event will be led by Jo Robb, District Councillor for South Oxfordshire District Council and a member of the Henley Mermaids, together with Dave Wallace, founder of HoT Water.

They will discuss what bathing water status could mean for Pangbourne, how water quality is assessed, and how local people can contribute to monitoring and improving the health of the River Thames.

The evening will also consider the wider importance of community action in protecting rivers for wildlife, recreation and public health.
