This year Keep Britain Tidy has organised another Great British Spring Clean from Friday 17th March to Sunday 2nd April, and Whitchurch has chosen to join in. Their Litter Picking Event will be on Saturday 18th March at 2pm. Please meet on Hardwick Road, at the end of Muddy Lane (this is near the entrance to the Maze). Litter bags, picking sticks and hi-vis vests will be provided, but people should bring their own gloves. Jill Bradon would like to know if you intend to turn up jill@jbradon.co.uk . However, if you decide to just go on the Saturday they will be pleased to see you there.
The Pangbourne Litter pick will be on Sunday 23rd April.
Litter picking events are usually good family fun outings, with lots of good cheer and camaraderie, as well as being good for the environment. Do plan to go along to at least one of them.
